  1. so an import tariff is a hidden sales tax, but raising corporate taxes isn't. she can't even campaign in good faith, so nobody should take her seriously. at least an import tariff on goods that can be produced or sourced locally keeps jobs and money in the country. increasing corporate taxes causes an exodus of corporations, ask ireland how that works and how they fixed the issue.
