  1. there's another benefit to sealed beams i didn't hear mentioned, they don't ever get dust or water in them unless they're cracked. which is an especially good feature for offroad vehicles like jeeps. so halogens didn't stay "better" for long. now with sealed led's and projectors the halogen is bumped further down the ranks. and i might be the odd one out but i find the yellower light much better than bright white. it's a lot better for seeing dips and holes offroad than white which tends to wash everything out with no contrast.

  2. those are the halogen inserts he talked about in the video, interchangeable with sealed beam removable halogen bulb typically they have a flat lens not a rounded one like sealed beam.
