Each & every family could have had the homes those Jews were forced to leave behind. Secondly, in 1956, the Arab league signed a pledge to never take in the refugees, specifically to be a thorn in Israel's side.

MOST of the ancestors of today's Palestinians are Syrian, Egyptian & a host of other Arabian nationalities, because they were, in 1947, recent economic refugees from those lands. RFK was murdered for writing a paper that pointed this out.

  39. I never contemplated suicide; I would dream of murder. But I wasn't going to jail for those jerks. So, instead, I taught myself to beat them at their own game. I started practicing things i would say back to each & every insult they paid me. It was the only thing that shut them up (& maybe a 6 inch growth spurt...?). And when the time came, I coached my kids how to answer back when they were bullied for being imaginative and intellectual. And when they proved too conscientious to say the things I had been forced to say, I became their voice with the school administration.

Tribal affiliation is patrilineal, to make things even. NOT the same thing, however. The "Law of Return" is NOT based on Jewish Law, but on antisemitism: if you have ANY Jewish ancestry, & need to come to Israel to be safe, they will take you in, no questions asked. Israel does not care where you were ever a citizen of before you ask for asylum, or Return. Israel does not care which place either parent came from. When we return, we are returning to our homeland. All the archeology over there proves that it is the Jewish homeland.

  48.  @RobPires  It's true, but it's not what happened in 1947. THere was no country there AT ALL. The mandate for Palestine was the British Administered LEFTOVERS of the Ottoman Empire, which fell in 1918 after siding with the offensive, losing side in WWI.
