  1. There have been fires in the Amazon every year for the last couple of decades. It is just farmers using slash a burn agriculture so that they can grow soy. No why is it a problem this year?

  2.  @rawat2608  Not even the worst year for fire, this has been happening routinely for decades. It is their winter and they are getting ready for spring to plant crops, the same is happening in Africa. . But why is it suddenly news?
