  4. Extermination of a people is genocide, but they are not synonyms. I beg you to read the definition of genocide enshrined in the UN Convention on Genocide, which is the original definition by the guy who coined the word, Rafael Lemkin (albeit with two extra words, "as such", which are a legal fudge). If you read it, you'll be almost the only commenter on YouTube who knows what genocide means...
