  8. Cast iron makes a pretty good ball bearing race. The cost to install something harder is probably hard to justify, especially on a part they want you to throw away and replace.

  12.  @andrewcole9605  Oh, and "real mechanics" also don't stress about a dollar in screws, when there's a fucking bin of thousands of them at every dealership or large shop. The screws literally don't even need to be there. They do fuck all once everything is bolted up.
