  3. I think it's the same as an electric rear view (middle) mirror: Electro-chromatic, with light sensors front and back to control the level of dimming - possibly the sensors on the (middle) mirror itself?

  4.  @annadaprasad5880  I read your comment, arsehole. Maybe you should write it more clearly! You realize you can control many aspects of modern wing mirror's function with electricity, right? Motion, dimming, front and rear signals, rain sensors, etc. Now, to your poorly asked question: It's the same as this mirror except instead of a double-jointed rod, it's two linear actuators behind the mirror to push/pull each axis. You're welcome.
