  3. Politicians are intermediaries. Capitalists told them that they wanted more profit, and that the way to achieve that was to decimate the labour movement. In seeking to lay the blame on a political party, you absolve the true criminals, and obscure the entire process. Do you think rich men become less greedy when politicians who are (ostensibly) less friendly to their program? No. They simply make plans and bide their time. As long as they're allowed to keep squeezing workers like lemons so they can drink lemonade every day, it doesn't matter which letter follows the name of any president, governor, senator, congressperson, mayor, etc.
