  1. If you believe HRC intended to win (I don't), you could maybe attribute her campaign's hubris to "lessons" learned from 2015 Canadian general elxn. Tories were isolated, so Liberals ran to the left of the NDP. Two years on, and they're behaving identically to Harper's Conservatives. MSM are only too happy to paper this over, while regurgitating Liberal talking points ad nauseum (e.g. Julie Van Dusen insistently pressing family of indigenous murder and suicide victims to say nice words about Trudeau).
