  1. To your point at 17:42, the NDP are widely thought of as Canada's political conscience. Early leader Tommy Douglas was instrumental in shaming Pearson's Liberals into instituting medicare nationwide. Douglas had previously instituted medicare provincially, as premier of Saskatchewan. FWIW, Saskatchewan was a KKK hotbed (second only to the Wheat Pool in membership) 40 years before Tommy was elected premier. "Compromise" is death for 3rd parties. Stick to your vision.

  2. The NDP in Canada have existed for 55 years. They have never formed a federal government, and only once came in second place. This isn't an argument for or against US Greens or third parties in general, just a heads-up for people who think it can be accomplished in one or two election cycles. Like the RZA said, it takes years for this shit.

On the bright side, they have formed provincial governments in several provinces, most notably in British Columbia where they're on the cusp of forming a minority gov't with backing of 3 BC Green MLAs (including Andrew Weaver, a disgusting Zionist who I hate...Google "Dimitri Lascaris Israel"). Nevertheless, the frenemy duopoly of L/liberals and C/conservatives have all the money+power they ever did, and intend to keep it by any means necessary (sorry, Malcolm).
