TL;dr -- John Maynard Keynes, Godfather of "Cultural Marxism"

And the Mohawks have the right to import Iranian missiles.

@@blackjock953 No, I mean what I said. "Judeo-Bolschewismus" sounds more like what you mean...? And that originates elsewhere, obviously.

@RoyMunson10 ✊

@sciagurrato1831 That's the kind right now, yeah, but industrial capitalism is still hell for workers.
2
@sciagurrato1831 There is no "industrial capitalism" to speak of today, at least not in "the West". It's all finance capital, even if it (occasionally) capitalizes productive industries. When I said it, I was thinking of Victorian sweatshops, for example.
2
@sciagurrato1831 China's capitalism is financed by Western capital. Oops!
2
@a.randomjack6661 It's been getting suckier the whole time, and everything feels "fast" when things suck. Were you around for the suckage in the 1990s?

@scientifico The capitalists who oppress you are people, too. Not all people are on your side, so "we the people" as a concept is pretty utopian and unrealistic.

@JohnT.4321 You don't like the UN Charter on Human Rights, schmuck? Cool. 😎
1
@JohnT.4321 My downright silly what?
1
@JohnT.4321 The United Nations does those things, yes. The Declaration does not. The reason you have no clue what I'm trying to communicate is that you have not the slightest curiosity to actually know. Now, Braino, go read the declaration and figure it out...or clamp your hole.
1
@JohnT.4321 Oh, and take "the wealthy" out of your damn vocabulary. They're called... P A R A S I T E S
1
@JohnT.4321 Did you just say the Amerikkkan Constitution is unrelated to the Mohawk people? Woooow. I didn't know I was talking to a black hole of ignorance. 🕳️ Good luck tying your shoes, dumdum.

@EdSurridge Wall Street is just one more piece of European-occupied Lenape land.
1
@EdSurridge Before I answer, please define precisely what you mean by "Wall Street", as you clearly are using it as a euphemism, where I was talking about the actual street in Lower Manhattan.

@sciagurrato1831 The puddle is you. Clean you yourself.

This is like a medic finding a bullet-wounded patient, and saying "The first thing we need to do is give this soldier a cup of hot cocoa and a pair of fuzzy slippers!" Lobbying is an integral part of the system; it cannot be simply excised, and the system continues without it. No. Either we're getting rid of capitalism, or we're gonna have lobbying. Remember, the reason we have legally accepted lobbying at all was to bring the practice into the light, where before it had been illicit. That failed in its goal tho, inasmuch as there's still illegal lobbying done...maybe the bulk of it.

"Social media" is first and foremost a communication tool, just as you've communicated your idea; this is more poignant the poorer someone is (e.g. I don't have a phone atm). For this reason, I'd tentatively oppose it, but I too am interested in other opinions, thoughts, etc. Anyway, what's the goal of a boycott? Are we: -seeking to cause economic pain for "advertisers" (capitalists) in hopes that they will intervene on Assange's behalf? Or that Awfulbutt Corporation will speak up due to lost ad revenue? (don't hold your breath for that result, IMO) -seeking to cause problems for the Amerikkkan state, so they will relent? (less than zero chance by this tactic; this is a bipartisan project, and one they're dedicated to)

They're not just profit junkies, as anyone could glean from Slick Willy, Dubya, Hunter Biden, etc.

As a rule, politicians work for capital. While it is theoretically possible for a filthy commie to be elected, they will invariably be legislatively stymied at best, merc'd at worst, and most likely some shtty fate in between those two extremes. Also, every capitalist could leave Russia tomorrow, and it wouldn't mean a thing if they're still capitalizing the economy.

@a.randomjack6661 I'm in Amerikkka, Jr., so the same shit but with free health care. Canada is objectively "Rhodesia" compared to Amerikkka's "South Africa".

@a.randomjack6661 And now that you mention it, I did have a burger that tasted a little... (...wait for it...) funny! 🤡
