I often puzzle at the phenomenon of committed leftists, some of whom are in/from oppressed nations and internal colonies, and who correctly oppose Zionism on the basis that it's a European colonial occupation movement, but then they insist that Canada, the US, México, Brazil, South Africa, etc. are a done deal and that control of the land can never be returned to the peoples of the lands. As I heard quoted in a Justin Podur video today by one of the guests, W.E.B. DuBois once said, "Whiteness is ownership of the Earth, forever and ever, Amen." Also, those governments aren't yours unless you're a capitalist, so...

Having plans for bugging out, self-defence, etc. are all good for anyone, but the details of those plans will vary wildly per income level. If someone is literally surviving on ramen noodles or KD in a rooming house with no money to save, they will not be buying any gold. Moreover, people like you will of necessity be robbed blind and/or have to kill poor people who couldn't buy gold to trade for some item you have and they need.
