  77.  @illiamchristian5532  You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. In 2016, Venezuelans overwhelmingly voted for opposition candidates for Congress, who won control of the Legislative branch. Maduro’s response was to jail Supreme Court Judges, and install his cronies as substitute Judges to rig the Court. Using that rigged Court, Maduro stripped Congress from its legislative function, essentially consolidating all power in the President. Imagine Trump disbanding Congress simply because he lost the mid-term elections. Would Americans find that acceptable enough for their “high platform”? Once that was done, fearing another overwhelming electoral defeat, Maduro illegally suspended the presidential elections that were due on December of 2017, while opposition parties were banned, and any high profile politicians who may become a candidate was jailed or banned from running (using the rigged Court). The elections were finally held in 2018, and in that election, no international observers were allowed, no opposition candidates were allowed to run, and only about 20% of the population registered to vote ended up voting. This was not a legal or fair election. Consequently, the Venezuelan Congress, as well as the international community, refused to recognize the results as legitimate, and therefore, declared the office of President as vacant. As such, the Venezuelan Constitution established that the next person in Presidential line of succession is the head of Congress (equivalent to the Speaker of the House) until new elections are held. That person is Juan Guaido. Nobody elected Maduro. Juan Guaido, head of Congress, is the one and only government official in the Presidential line of succession that can trace his legitimacy to a free and fair election. That’s why the US, AND OVER 60 COUNTRIES around the world have recognized him as the legitimate Temporary President of Venezuela until new fair elections are held. Get your facts straight

  112.  @tomservo5007  "If you go by histroy" >>>correlation is not causation, you cant look at history and use it as evidence for events in the present. Please cite some examples "Oil will stabilize after saudis have made their profits" >>>Ummm the damage caused by the attack will cost millions to repair. Also where are you getting these assumptions? Price per barrel is not that much higher than prices before the attack, any rise in price would bring negligible profits. In fact the attack brings negative consequences for SA i.e. buyers faith in SA ability to keep oil flowing. "Why do you want war with Iran" >>> that's a straw man argument I never said I wanted a war with Iran. The only thing I am interested in is the facts, the way you are looking at the situation it's the same way conspiracy theorist goes about it. I'm not saying you are one but you are heading down that road. Use the scientific method ask these questions first specifically about the evidence that Saudi Arabia showed. 1. What type of missile are they showing us? What type of cruise missile is it what countries operate it. 2. Are the drones homemade or are they made by a state actor. 3. Are any of the serial numbers or information on the missiles available to see. 4. Where did the attack come in from? Was it from the direction of yemeni territory? 5. Does Iran have that model of cruise missile in their Arsenal? These are just a sample of questions, you have to go about it logically and rationally you can go by what ifs or your feelings
