They can't seem to let the past go, they are still stuck in the days of the "Great Patriot War". I rarely if ever heard an American complain about Japanese imperialists.

  4. NikolNikol100 No one denies that there are extremist groups in Ukraine, but they are a small fringe minority. The US congress voted to make it illegal to arm any far right groups or neo-nazis. The very existence of these groups can be blamed on Russia or Soviet policies in WWII, millions of Ukrainians were killed by Stalin and when the nazis invaded it was seen as liberation. Fortunately most Ukrainians are moderate and condemn neo-nazis. Can you call the Finns nazis because they collaborated with the Nazis??

Yes there have been clashes with police, but they are angry because Russians and terrorists still occupy Ukrainian land. The moderates of Ukraine will disarm Right sector if they get out of hand, they are currently accepted because they are helping fight the Russia invasion. The Ukrainian military is slowly being rebuilt, and the longer the ceasefire holds the Ukrainians will only get stronger.

Eventually we will have to do something about right sector. The vast majority of Ukrainians are moderate and only want to be free of Russian oppression and influence. I think after centuries of foreign control the Ukrainians have a right to be independent. Are there some neo-Nazis fighting in the name of Ukraine?? Yes, but what choice does Kiev have, their country was being carved up and occupied by foreign forces, they needed people to fight. An example would be Finland. The Finnish collaborated with the Nazis and even fought in German uniforms, but what were they to do in the face of psychopath like Stalin (Putin has taken this role) and his red army?? Today we do not call Finland Nazi. Russia trolls have called VICE news bias and and a western propaganda puppet, but this proves otherwise. Now they see one Nazi symbol on VICE and call the entire Ukrainian government Nazi.

I used to go back and forth with them and I am done with that, I will simply call them out for trolls that they are and then leave it at that. Now I only debate people who can respond with intellectually centered responses (for the most part anyways). There is just way too much rhetoric on YouTube these days. Example for trolls: 1.State your point. 2. Elaborate. 3.provide evidence or references. Sometimes it is ok to go back and forth based solely on your personal beliefs, but trolls and < intelligent people take it too far. They are poised to take it, they need the industry that in the city to economically support their illegitimate government. They also want to make a land bridge to Crimea, this will allow faster resupply among other advantages. If the DNR were fighting for freedom, then they would not be trying to take more land---they attacked Debaltseve right after the Minsk II agreement. The same can be said about the Georgians and Chechens. Russia ferociously opposed their independence and invaded. Ukraine is in the same position. Ukraine should not have to surrender any of their land. Russia defended its land, so Ukraine is doing the same.
