@Darkrider8893 That is disingenuous af and you know it, the death rate is 2%-3% depending on the area and access and quality to healthcare. Covid-19 left to run rampant would have a death rate closer to 10% with no medical intervention, so lets educate you moron and look at what you missed 1. Covid death in the US ~700,000 out of ~40,000,000 infections. This is just the deaths, now lets look at what someome without critical thinking skills misses. 2. Long term consequences of Covid-19 infection. Millions now face diminished lung function and have permanently lung damage. 3. Even those without severe symptoms will experience lose out on work and thus miss on income. 4. This virus is so "not deadly" according to you that it wouldn't cause ARDS at a much higher rate than the flu? Right? Its not like the seasonal flu effective antivirals to treat it e.g. Tamiflu. 5. Incubation period of Covid-19 one week at lowest, the flu ~3 days. So which virus is going to be spread far and wide? Which virus if allowed to run rampant without enacting measures can infect a large portion of essential workers? Just wait until 10% of the trucking fleet becomes incapacitated, do I really have to outlie the consequences of staling the nation's supply chain? Get in line with all the dead anti-vaxx morons e.g. Phil Valentine
