  1. This dispute totally ignores the fact that men tried to answer the problem because they were interested in it while the Vos Savant saw it as gendered. Why should one woman put down an entire discipline going back to Descartes, Leibniz and Pascal and before them Pythagoras, Euclid, and Thales, just to mock men? Why can't people enjoy what they do?
