Then, the last 30 mins when they're tryna promote their ideology or book or course or documentary, they lose anyone with any intelligence and focus on the fringe people who will part with cash.

  2. He doesn't understand what spin up or spin down means. It has nothing to do with angular momentum. That's not what spin means in quantum mechanics. Fail. He sounds legitimate, but there are massice gaps in his knowledge. Does he have any verifiable recorded evidence of telepathy or remote viewing? Of course not. Just send him money.
