  1. A few days after the shooting, I asked a friend of my dad’s who’s a retired officer what he thought of the cops’ actions. He said, “If I’m at a school, with a gun, and I hear shooting - back up or not - I’m going in.”

  2. Maybe citizens should be able to sue the police for failure to protect them. They are, after all, paid with the tax dollars of the people they protect.
