He walked himself right into that "vim user explaining meme"

@Rai2M he's completely correct, OpenAI took everyone's copyrighted material without any consent breaking tons of licenses and TOSs and then selling it for a price without letting anyone run the models without intervention of OpenAI so that they can track and collect data of its users, Meanwhile Deepseek R1 which if they distilled OpenAI models would be equivalent to taking that copyrighted material and then providing it back on the public domain as an open source model along with the research papers.

but like CDNs and DDOS protection ?

I get that big corporations are evil, but it sounds a bit unbelievable, I mean unless you owe them money, they shouldn't have any reason to ask 120k upfront or they''ll shut down all domains.
9
maybe we need web4 for that because all web3 offered was NFTs and crypto scams and sh*tcoins
8
I won't be surprised if bun shipped a few frontend frameworks of it's own that work 10 times faster than react and svelte.

@justanothercomment416 Generative AI hallucinates as the task gets complicated 💀 You really wouldn't want a doctor to mix sh*t up.
3
@justanothercomment416 then you'd feel really sad when you realise 90% of this tech was built in 80s but due the vanishing gradients problem no bigger ai was made till someone figured out to make transformers and ever since then all such generative AIs are based on it, But because these GPTs are just a tool for querying which word goes next to any word, lacking the context there's a very high margin of error, hallucinations or even baised data, It's true general AIs can replace us but GPTs ain't that, just one bottleneck with data or computation and we're back to 80s with some really good chatbots this time

People really seem to forget that HTMX is just a script tag that provides custom attributes for html tags which uses javascript internally to change the UI (not heavy at all but still js) It's just client side logic for your templates which you don't have to write.

@@darthvader1191yup just say that name and investors will start crawling to your feet.

Well time to make our own game engine bois !

3:30 he turned into American psycho

I have to say what prime said is exactly how I feel, heck I wrote the same thing in my journals, he's speaking from experience.
2
I think this problem can be solved if we had some sort of TS JIT compiler/interpreter in both node and browser (atleast in dev mode) via some extension.

Really another one ? well I like vite so I'd give it a try.

The worst programmers are the ones who make changes in common code, turn it into something that looks like it came out of a module bundler, and say "ohh I'll refactor it bro" and they never do.
1
@phamlong4210 that's JavaScript
1
@Nootlink no things like transformers and SSSMs are not just API wrappers they have an architecture that affect how much hardware your AI will use, how efficient it is, what's it's attention span, how it scales and all that stuff Think of it like this Chatgpt and Bard are just homosapiens and neanderthals Devin is just a homosapien with animal hide on it.
1
I'm kind of enjoying bun and I really don't want it to die, like every time setting up node + ts + jest + any bundler was a nightmare, Like oh you like top level await use es22, in that case you have to use nodenext and in that case imports work differently and in that case they may cause issues at different places, like it's baaaddd... really bad and for what ? It takes away the very spirit of JS to sh*t code fast.
1
When you use SSR with js, otherwise I think react does cut a lot of cost by moving the whole processing for view layer on browser. Because serializing JSON data from database is arguably much cheaper to do on cloud compared to generating HTML strings on every request especially when data is not changing that often. I still find running PWAs using client side logic works well for most Sass products when you don't need SEO and stuff on your product.

Blud got dockerized 💀

@hasanjafri135 the tall skinny figures
1
@brianviktor8212 yeah it's also not safe for work and children should not be exposed to it.
1
Even though I think, it's actually cool, but I'm expecting it to do the same thing as autogpt and all those self prompting bots from months ago, as if it was the end of the world "ohh look this AI just made me money, after I told it make money for me" nobody talks about them now, because it can run into infinite loops of prompting

The classic "I'm afraid i can't let you do that"

This language is the definition of YES YES YES NO....
1
by the end of this year, We'll have js runtimes beating Rust and Zig in performance
1
@adotinthecosmos C# is a good language to write applications but where's fun in that ? we need Chaos.
1
That Mama Cass song "Make your kind of music" suits this guy perfect.

They somehow made the conversation with their most advanced AI agents far more cringey than GPT-3
1
@privateanon7623 it's funny how we don't see the 24 hour window in any email or 120k upfront, just 10k per month for their custom IPs and everything in the enterprise plan, I'm not sure but I have a feeling that the author is trying to hide something because this is extortion, people put real money in gambling sites and it keeps rotating 24x7, they have every reason to file a lawsuit, but just writing a blog about it, sounds off.

Bruh you guys are Epic.

Bro really put HTML and CSS above Rust 💀

Maybe the runtime is going to make an api call to unity servers every time it's installed on a Device ?
