Can we really trust them ? They had already built gpt4 when they released chatgpt, it wasn't some sort of prototype to gpt4 but more like a dumbed down version of it. If they have different teams working on training the AI and then making them safe, they may already have gpt5 but that's not something they wanna share because since they developed gpt3, they've been increasingly hiding, stuff from us, like the code of gpt3 or literally everything and gpt4 even the parameters and stuff.
