The dataset is bigger, the models are fine tuned according to those tests and they're essentially using some sort of self reasoning agent which is equivalent to a loop of prompts and the model is only about to do it properly because of such high compute.

Don't focus on being selected focus on completing assignments the more you do the more comfortable you'd get, and eventually land a good internship, at beginning they don't pay much probably under 20k but after 2-6 months salary improves drastically depending on the company. after you finish graduation you have experience, a job and some share of the company 👍

LLMs are pretty good for doing researching, learning about different algorithms, concepts and overall reading old documentations, but generating logical statements where there are tons of ways to mess up, is not something I would want from them.
