  1. They shouldn't. NATO has shown that they cannot be trusted to fulfill their obligations. They have a signed written agreement to defend Ukraine militarily should Russia ever invade in return for Ukraine giving up it's nuclear weapons (which they wanted to keep as a deterrent to such an invasion.) Ukraine upheld their end, NATO, out of cowardice, did not... Why would anyone want to be a member of such a cowardly, untrustworthy organization?
