Couldn't find one willing to kiss the ring.

He was until it became politically expedient not to be. Just look up archived social media posts he's deleted over the years.

Not to defend her, but if law enforcement would drop the pain compliance approach along with their idiotic theory that sensory overload will lead to easier control, most of the beatdowns of people who won't comply would disappear. It's those approaches which make it difficult for a herd of officers to control someone that two experienced psych hospital staff could handle with little effort. In highly stressful situations, the pain and confusion created by law enforcement techniques are far more likely to trigger "fight or flight" responses than compliance. Which is why even otherwise intelligent/sane individuals will sometimes continue to fight even though they'd be the first to say "why don't they comply" when watching it happen to someone else. Limiting environmental stimuli as best as possible and using leverage instead of painful holds works far better.

I've seen plenty of his interviews and read plenty of his social media posts that were archived before they were deleted. He's an anti vax nut job with no business having the position he now does.

@alcast6403 Pretty much all courts either outright prohibit electronic recording of court proceedings or require the consent of the judge, legal teams, witnesses, etc. It's primarily to prevent video recording which can potentially be misused (creatively edited and then used in political ads for example) and to keep cases from becoming a media circus with witnesses potentially behaving differently/worrying about things like their appearance when they should be focused on answering questions etc. As you said, written transcripts are available upon request for most cases. There's no need for video recordings (which is what she's accused of doing) and the court rules concerning such were clearly posted. At the very least, she needed the judge's permission which she did not seek. In fact, She told the judge that she was not recording it when asked. Witnesses in the courtroom claimed otherwise and if she lied to the judge about it, that's definitely a problem.
