  1. It was made clear during the Constitutional Convention that the 2nd amendment was only meant to apply to the national government. The states were always intended to be able to regulate firearms as they saw fit. That didn't change until rogue SCOTUS "justices" decided to legislate their personal/political agendas from the bench in 2010 (MacDonald decision.) Since the MacDonald decision would fail the new Bruen "test" when it comes to the historical legal tradition aspect, it's actually the Governor who is defending the original intent of the Constitution.

  2. Unfortunately, removing rogue SCOTUS justices from their benches is easier said than done. We're just going to have to put up with them legislating their personal/political agendas from the bench for now.
