Trump needs to stay off of social media... it's an embarrassment to the nation.
89
Someone should remind him what happened to Roman Emperors when their madness finally overtook them...
45
So you're putting someone who denies that evolution exists in charge of dealing with a retrovirus...brilliant.
39
Considering that China's banks and economy are in the process of completely collapsing, there's a severe water crisis looming, and civil unrest is rapidly growing, you'd think pooh bear would have better things to do than continue pitching a pointless hissy fit and pretending like he's considering taking Taiwan by force when that's the absolute last thing he wants since doing so would obviously be counter productive and only make things worse.
29
As an American, I am sickened by my government's actions.
27
@John_Mcgrane The vast majority of Springfield residents are saying it's bull💩.
27
Spout lies that put people's lives in danger, and you pay for it. The jury in this case decided he'd pay a lot for it.
27
This does nothing to discourage Trump's mad tariff war. He doesn't care.
22
@cheesehead4209 Bah, they invaded in 2014. Putin sent in mercs, civilian clothed soldiers, and tons of weapons etc. at that time to bolster the tiny percentage of the population that wanted to separate. That's close enough to be called an invasion.
17
@Bob-cx4ze They wouldn't be at risk if Trump and right wing social media hadn't started mass hysteria over this nonsense. The hysteria is the danger.
15
Imagine the "I told you sos" when things get worse under him and stay that way. You should start putting money back now because things will be very bad by early to mid 2026. Unless he abandons most of his promises or Congress blocks them.
13
There were issues with the fairness of his trial (poisoned jury etc.), and the vast majority of the evidence was circumstantial. People should give the Innocence Prohect time to look it all over and see where it goes before dishing out hate.

Speak for yourself
11
Tyranny is two billionaires forcing their desires on the masses... and tyranny was defeated today.
11
@terrestrialradio decided by a jury so...
11
Still looks horrible for his administration.
11
You can see a lot more getting through on non Israeli approved video.
10
@buffalobill1415 Allowing Russia to get away with annexing land will be our problem in a decade or less. Study your history or just repeat it.
10
This is why personality cults are so dangerous. They can take an intelligent, respectable person and turn them into brainwashed fodder faster than their friends and family can realize it and get them help.
10
@BobBob-eh5sb The only note worthy ruling she's made is guaranteed to be overturned by the appeals court. Anyone who's read it will tell you that. She even contradicted multiple of her own past rulings in it's argument.

Your grasp of international politics needs work. China's banks and economy are completely collapsing, they have a severe water crisis in the making, civil unrest is rapidly growing and (unlike us) they don't really have any relevant friends to turn to for help. Weak President or not, they're terrified of us at the moment since our system can continue to function even with someone in Biden's condition technically being in charge while theirs lives or dies by the power of their leader... and is currently dying. Pooh bears ongoing hissy fit is laughable. The last thing China needs now is to take Taiwan by force. They can't do so without wrecking the reason they wanted it to begin with. It's economy. They have enough drains on their own economy as it is. They don't need more. They also don't need the injection of democratic ideals among their population which would come if they brought Taiwan back into the fold. They're already approaching a possible open revolt. Adding Taiwan to the mix would be suicidal for the party.

Testing a potential national surveillance drone program for Trump's upcoming administration.
9
It's a non story. He bought it for a little over 3M euros (well within his means due to his acting career) years before he became President and hasn't been there since becoming President.
9
Yep you'd have to be crazy not to.
9
Hegseth paid more to hush his victim than Gaetz did and is equally unqualified for his position. It's going to take a lot of favors to get him confirmed.

Odds of dying from a skydive ~1:175,000 Odds of getting this type of heart inflamation after being vaxed: ~1:600,000 Edit: actually my data for total Pfizer/Moderna vaxes given in the US was way out of date. The odds of the myocarditis side effect is closer to 1:1,000,000.

I don't know...I've worked with the mentally ill quite a bit and beginning when he actually took office, his mental health really does seem to have collapsed. He's ridiculously obsessed with his inaugural turnout and not having won the popular vote (neither of which are of any importance to his position) On top of that, he's been telling obvious lies and apparently doesn't realize that people can see right through them. It's almost like he's living in his own little world...

The same as everyone else. It's based on tonnage. The cost has been going up for awhile because the lake the feeds the canal is also a source of drinking water for the region and has been experiencing a drought for awhile. The lower the level gets, the more valuable the water becomes. Thus the higher the price. Unless, Trump can magically make it rain, the cost increases are legit.
8
Not if Trump can have his way.
8
@NNumenn It most likely is about him violating the Presidential Records Act by sending ~15 boxes of records he was required by law to hand over to the Archivist of the United States when he left office, to Mar-a-Lago instead. That said, it could still be a big deal. He knew he had to turn them over by law and yet refused to do so. For a problem with such a simple solution, refusing to turn them in makes no sense unless there's something in them he wants to keep hidden.
8
Sorry, but given the Israeli government/military's history of deceit (of both friends and foes) and total disregard for international law, simply taking their word for their claims isn't enough to justify their violation of the Geneva Convention's prohibition of perfidy.
8
There's a strong chance that this claim isn't accurate. Alaska Airlines flight 261 behaved nearly identically to this flight after a complete failure of their horizontal stabilizer. The flight data even suggested that the input for the nose dive came from a pilot. When, what actually happened was that the abrupt failure of the stabilizer pulled the yokes forward hard to the point that the pilots could barely budge them. Datawise both situations would look the same.
7
To those saying Putin doesn't care/ it's not really enforceable, etc. That's not the point. Now any countries who recognize the international court can use Russia's refusal to comply with the court's order as legitimate grounds politically and legally to support their becoming more involved/using a more aggressive approach when dealing with this issue. The fence sitting smaller countries can now feel comfortable with getting involved and those contemplating military involvement etc. can better justify it.
7
There wasn't much reason for them to stay awake. Most of the testimony from prosecution's expert witnesses was just an exercise in how many different ways they could word the same pointless and/or unsupported claims...and testimony from "character witnesses" such as praising the quality of Floyd's banana/mayo sandwiches wasn't exactly relevant...
7
It's not like many would pass them anyway. If the Senate doesn't roll over and allow him to do recess appointments, Senators should sumply vote no on principle on any without proper checks.
7
@dniboc7227 The public can see the affidavits when/if he's indicted. The same as with other cases. Our curiosity is not strong enough grounds to potentially compromise an ongoing investigation.
7
Easy target to pump up his "win" count. Lowering grocery prices or getting rid of some random toll in a city each only count as "one".
7
If you don't delete Russian bots they'll overrun the comment section.
7
No. The Constitution is more important. Stop your fascism.
7
The moment he started the second site charging them to take down the pictures, he left the realm of free speech and entered the realm of extortion / blackmail. edit: As a result, the original site lost any legal protections it may have had and simply became part of a criminal enterprise.
6
There's more to relief than just money being put directly into our pockets. The vast majority of the bill focuses on the long term recovery.
6
Shame on Elon for not spending Thanksgiving with his harem and their offspring.
6
Do it the right way or don't do it at all. The Germans, Italians, Chinese, Russians, etc. all fell for giving up their rights because a charismatic figure told them it was for their own good at certain points in history... look how well that turned out for them.
6
A jury awarded $148M in damages and he has refused to pay. Asset forfeiture is the next legal step. That's how it's always been.
6
If I were Biden, I'd tell the Afghan army to execute a fighting retreat towards stong ground and let the Taliban start spreading themselves thin trying to take the entire country. Then, I would offer the legitimate Afghan government all the drone, air support, and intelligence assistance we can to aid the fight. In modern warfare, there's not nearly as much need for boots on the ground when it comes to supporting other countries.
6
Unsealing such affidavits while the investigation is ongoing is like making someone reveal their hand in poker prior to the last round of betting. They may still win the pot but they lose an opportunity to increase it. Lawmakers and News agencies know full well that affidavits should remain sealed until there's an indictment. That begins the trial phase and defense attorneys may file discovery motions, challenge warrants, etc. to their hearts' content. Doing it during the investigation phase offers no legitimate benefit and can only compromise the effectiveness of the investigation.
6
@Whatsa-jaguar-now Shipping that requires fuel that will soon be affected by tariffs, parts for maintenance that will be affected by tariffs, farms that use machinery, tools and fuel that will be affected by tariffs, etc.
6
@js2845 It's not exactly dificult to find differences in the genomes of various strains... and once you know where to look for such differences, you only really need to look there to determine which strain you're looking at.
6
@iDeagles No. She's completely unqualified no matter what one's political beliefs due to that ridiculous decision she made. She's a joke all the way around in the legal profession.
6
Very true. It's a difference in ideals. Many just want a dictator to isolated the country from the world so that they never have to adapt to changing times. Easier that way with little to no need for any mental effort on their parts. Unfortunately, they don't realize that isolationism and appeasement are death knells for economies and defense.
