There is no saved money... DOGE is full of it.
42
President Trump owes Ukraine, Zelenskyy, and NATO an apology. The pathetically weak way he's handling this, along with the misinformation he's been spouting, makes this country look like a fool at best and a backsttabber at worst.
21
Tariff Denmark and the whole EU will counter tariff back... Not a war either side would really win but definitely a war the American people would lose. Maybe Trump should focus on getting food and housing prices affordable before chasing ridiculous pipe dreams.
13
@giohouse643 He'll FA and violate our agreement giving Panama the right to refuse us passage through it. That, on top of his other economic nonsense will put the final nail in the coffin for our economy.
11
Bring it. DOGE couldn't even set up their website without leaving it wide open to hackers. I definitely don't trust their ability to securely digitally analyze sensitive data and make intelligent decisions based off of it. The fact that there are only 20 of them and their average age is 22 doesn't inspire my trust either.

@Russell-rc6qq Nah.

In the words of Dread Pirate Roberts "get used to disappointment."
8
@zzumba1 He has no clue how to fix the real problems, so he throws up distractions.
7
Only one willing to dive under that fat roll...
6
He just got through harboring a wanted criminal so... the ICC should put a warrant out on Trump as well.
6
He keeps her around because she gives good...............advice
5
@guykimble5135 Trump caved to the Columbian President's conditions, Mexico refused a flight for the same reason Columbia did and Trump said nothing about it, and the last time Trump tariffed Canada, the EU backed them up (and Republican Congress members explained reality to him) and most of the tariffs were dropped.
5
There have always been school shootings... there haven't always been smart phones and social media. Back in the day, towns and cities were embarrassed by such events and would actively keep it out of the news as much as possible.
5
@IntergalacticDustBunny And he did a pretty good job cleaning up Trump's messes to be fair. I figured it would take at least 8 to fix as much of the damage he caused with his unthoughtout policies. Things take time to fix. Trump doesn't understand that. Adults do...or at least should.
4
It returns rights lost due to felony conviction like voting, owning firearms, etc. as well. Still, not a huge deal.
4
Food prices will. They're going to go way up. Housing will as well. A lot of things will. The only thing that will go down is the economy and the US dollar.
4
We put it on stolen land... which is why we gave it back.
4
He's got plenty to spare.
4
It'll be in even more of one over time if Trump gets in office and actually gets any of his unthoughtout promises through.
4
Why do you think he spawned so many?
3
So does the name Trump...
3
I wouldn't call it a win for Trump so much as a loss for anyone who actually took the buyout. Under current legal precedent, there's no obligation on the government's part to uphold their end of the deal and no legal recourse to those who took it if they don't. That's why so few who were offered took it (~3.5%.)
3
@t.c.2776 Current opinion polls in Greenland are 85% in favor of remaining with Denmark. End of story.
3
All it does is restore the right to vote and own firearms and any other rights lost due to felony conviction. The conviction itself remains on her record. She already served her sentence. Pardon wasn't deserved, but not worth an uproar either.
3
That's what happens when one party becomes a cult sadly...Madness prevails
3
Probably the tax cut structure and the program cuts needed to fund them. They are ridiculously skewed towards taking from the middle/lower brackets and benefiting the upper.
3
@houseadams4841 He gave it to him as a Christmas gift (according to other family members.)
3
Roman emperors would give the masses games while robbing them blind and they praised them for it... just saying.
2
After Brian Thompson, he needs a shield.
2
We already have the smallest federal workforce by population of any functional modern country. That's why it doesn't work well. This is just going to make it worse. If you want to cut waste, the bloat is in state and local government. Most states have at least 8 times their population working state/local government that the federal government has of the nation's population.
2
Police Unions in heavily Republican areas have also condemned it...
2
We have ~2.2M civilian government employees and about the same in the military. That's not exactly horrible for a country of 330M.
2
Of course, he doesn't want another debate. Without the accountability of having to run for another term after this and no further debates, he can make all the promises he wants between now and election day and not have to worry about explaining or keeping them.
2
@RhymeandRamblings dream on
2
@Dean4511 He quick fixed which always causes bigger messes down the line. That's what a degenerate deal maker does. Also, his bumbling created the window Putin needed to invade Ukraine. Putin recognized that Trump's destabilizing NATO and causing chaos in our rapid response hub in Germany with his late term base closure orders would prevent a prompt response until the damage could be repaired and took advantage of it. Also, Trump's lack of handling the Covid problem early when there was a chance of really slowing it down, led to millions of unnecessary cases and crushing medical debt for many due to the immediate effect and the long term effects of the disease. It also made more drastic measures necessary that damaged the economy etc. There's a great deal more to go into like the insane backlog spike in hearing immigration cases his policies caused (which in turn led to the huge amount of legally protected migrants having to stay in the country longer now), but, in short, he left a ton of ticking time bombs behind with his unthoughout and shortsighted attempts to make everything appear fine during his term.
2
2.2M civilian federal employees isn't all that large for 330M people... (the other 2.1M are military)
2
@Fancy-p7z and especially a collapsed economy.
2
And Homan better follow it properly.
2
@ricksterbobolishious7523 Alright Adolf
2
@mrmoment6061 Not in 29 states including Georgia. They have exceptions allowing it at home by the parents. Edit: Some allow it in public with parents present. You just can't buy it under 21 or enter establishments that have age limits etc.

Ketamine addiction tends to destroy intelligence. Just look at how poorly he runs his businesses.
1
Nah, I'll use the $5 they send me as 🧻 and return it to sender.
1
Nah, he had the moderate/centrist Republican vote then. He didn't last time or this.
1
Any idiot can take a chainsaw to something. That doesn't mean they will be left with a functional finished product afterward. All Vivek and Musk know is pump and dump schemes and crypto scamming. Neither have shown they can successfully run real companies long term with their strategies.
1
@AG_247 Nobody wants Alabama...
1
@debraanderson1511 He's clearly grooming her to be the next DJT when Melania divorces him. Same pattern as his previous divorces and remarriages.
1
No. Fight, fight, fight for your country.
1
@andykerr3803 This country has no kings... especially mad kings.
1
The states are where the real corruption is. Around 0.65% of the population works for the federal government. Throw in state/local government employees, and that goes up to 7% of our population.
1
They acted on it and did what the law allowed them to. This is on the dad.
