I'm pretty sure Ukraine especially knows to avoid another Chernobyl. The point is they wanted to keep them to have a deterrent against Russian aggression, which is why security assurances were part of the deal. To ask Iran to abandon their program leaves them sitting ducks to their enemies, similar to how the US abandonment of Ukraine has now left them a near sitting duck for Putin.

  13. @philonetic321  Both Israel and the US have funded and engaged in what easily classifies as terrorist activities as well (Both being internationally condemned for such on numerous occassions and Israel with a leader who has an international warrant out on him for war crimes), and they both have nukes. Because they have more friends, their actions and funded groups are not classified as terrorists. Yours is not a great argument against Iran as it is simply subjective. Ultimately, Iran is a sovereign nation with a right to defend itself. Whether we like it or not. To be fair, it should have been a moot point as they were content to be nukeless until Trump came along in his first term and blew the deal. Now he's just desperate to save face.

It's moot anyway since there isn't enough time to convict him of either prior to the election. So if people really want another four years of Biden, they're free to vote for Trump.

  30.  @jasonj1376  That's debatable at best. The number of legal scholars who interpret it to not include the President is a tiny fraction of the whole. The argument that the President is included is much stronger when you look at the primary reason that aspect of the 14th amendment was conceived. I doubt they intended that a previous member of the Confederacy should be allowed to become President when they damn sure didn't want them to hold any other office.
