That being said, the Nation of Islam back then was all about proving their superiority over anyone who wasn't them and Ali winning that fight would have been a major boon to them. They weren't exactly shy about their business either. Just look at how they publically gunned down Malcolm X. Threatening Liston would have been right up their alley.
