  15. The only discrimination was against the small minority of the population in those regions who were militant pro-Russian separatists being backed by Moscow. In other words, terrorists who could have simply walked a little way eastward and fulfilled their dream of living under Putin's thumb. Ethnicity had nothing to do with it. The majority of the ethnic Russians who spoke Russian in those regions considered themselves Ukrainians and fought against the separatists. They were also the loudest voices against Putin's criminal invasion when it began. Had that original population not been driven from their homes or murdered by Putin's puppets, there would be no way in hell those regions would ever vote to return to the glorified gas station with nukes that Russia has become under Comrade Putin's dictatorship.

  44. It very much would. It's the Republicans in the House who refuse to allow our weapon supply to Israel to be used as a bargaining chip to get their attention. That's the only diplomatic language Israel or their opponents speak when it comes to the US. Trump would have to fight his own party and his evangelical supporters to even have a chance of being taken seriously over there.
