  1. If it's anything like being in a sensory deprivation tank, it would definitely be weird. With the body actually missing though, I'd worry about something along the lines of phantom limb syndrome being an issue.

  2. When it comes to the experiments where they just kept a disembodied brain alive, I would be worried that something like a full body version of phantom limb syndrome might occur. Were that the case, it would be exceptionally cruel and inhumane.

  3. I'd give it 5. Compared to other experiments we do to animals, this one really wasn't all that cruel. Over quickly for the body donor and the head came across more confused than scared to me. The amount of drugs they gave it probably had it as high as a kite for last bit of it's life as well. What was gained in return advanced neurology and transplant understanding by quite a bit and likely saved/improved the lives of many since.
