  5. The way in which the modern state of Israel was created is what would best be described politically as a dick move (by non Israelis anyway.) Also, they're an ever present reminder of Western meddling in the region...and everyone needs an enemy so for the Islamic countries of the middle east, Israel is the odd one out and thus the perfect candidate.

  6. Look at it from their side of things. He's been on their radar since the 80's. They know all the shady business dealings he's had with very shady people who are known to not have our best interest at heart. Originally he was just a private business man/con artist and therefore not that big of a threat. When he runs for President however, the game changes. Now, they have someone known to have prior dealings with our enemies in a positition to become a huge threat to national security. Add to that that he was arrogant enough to intentionally antagonize them and it's completely understandable that they would be watching him like a hawk. If they were really out to get him, he'd already have been got. They've got more than enough dirt on him from his past to completely destroy him. So far, they've played relatively nice (despite him behaving like a complete ass.) There's only so much of his underhanded bullshit they can be expected to put up with. Apparently, he has now (through his own stupidity and arrogance) crossed the line. The gloves are now off and he will go down. If he cares at all about this country, he will follow Nixon's lead and resign rather than drag us through the mud of an impeachment he can't survive.
