Biden won the moment the Trump campaign committed the fatal tactical blunder of actively discouraging mail in voting. It just took/is taking awhile for some to realize it.
2
Nope, just the enemy of delusional Trump worshippers. They're a mild nuisance to the rest of us.
2
I'm a strong supporter of gun rights and I voted Biden. With everything else his administration will be dealing with, gun control will likely be near the bottom of the priority list. The Senate will probably stay Republican as well (though it's going to be close) so there's some added security there. Also, most of the approaches to the issue he's mentioned are either too ridiculous to pass or do so little that they're pointless. (I get the feeling he knows that and was just giving lip service to the issue for votes.) It's a calculated risk.
2
And Trump worshippers will still refuse to accept it. If you can't break your delusion at least do us a favor and choose a relatively clean way to go when you all go full Jonestown on us. It may be winter, but the messier ways will still start to stink the place up quicker.
2
All the courage in the world can't change reality...He's done, accept it or don't. No one really cares which. All we ask is that, when your delusion is finally shattered, you choose a relatively clean way to off yourself as none of us are looking forward to the massive Jonestown style mess we're likely going to have to clean up. Especially if you all choose messy ways to...leave.
2
The only shot he has is to throw as many lawsuits out there as he can in hopes of delaying enough states from certifying their votes/picking electors that Biden won't have 270+ ec votes by the deadline which would allow the House to pick the winner. It's essentially an attempt to exploit a Constitutional loophole and is theoretically possible even if he and his team know they have no legitimate case. They'd probably have better odds of each of them being individially struck by lightning on the same day, than pulling off such a scheme but they don't really have anything to lose by trying.
2
Well, for starters, most of the cases involve(d) only a handful of contested votes in amounts expected to be found in any election and nowhere near enough to matter toward the outcome. Beyond that, they have no evidence to back their claims of large scale fraud. Those cases depend almost entirely on hearsay and anecdotal "evidence" which doesn't even come close to meeting the requirements to proceed.
2
Bound to happen eventually. The majority of the US population leans to the left. If they continue to reside mostly in just a handful of states then there will be more and more pop vote win/ec loss elections. Spreading out to other states is a necessity if they want to be properly represented politically.

I love how anyone who dares to do their job becomes a coward, traitor, etc. in the eyes of Trump's cultists...I wonder who they'll blame when their glorious leader finally runs out of busses and/or people to throw under them...
1
And when offenders like Trump are jailed, at least Jonestown yourselves in a relatively clean fashion. Even in winter the corpses of those who chose...messy ways will still stink the place up quicker than we can dispose of them.
1
Funny you should mention the marshalls as they're the ones who will be tasked with dragging Trump out kicking and screaming in January.
1
He is...just not a very good one when it comes representing the plaintiff.
1
Nothing is going to prevent Biden, the duly elected President, from taking office in January. If you care about that filth Trump so much, pray he's sane enough to leave peacefully. It'll be a shame if he has to be dragged out of the White House kicking and screaming on international television. Though it would be a fitting way for such a scumbag to go, the country doesn't need the embarassment.
1
OK, once again Trump's legal team failed to submit any of the 200+ affidavits or other evidence they claimed they had to support their case against Pennsylvania and said case was dismissed by Federal Appeals Court for lack of evidence.
1
@billdavis1963 You're not. Edit: It wasn't a ruling, just a memorandum with no legal significance. She's a low tier conservative activist judge looking for attention and a career boost.
1
It's not exactly easy to keep one's job when you're one of the people most responsible for a multibillion dollar lawsuit against your employer...just sayin...
1
Without McConnell, Trump would have been removed from office via impeachment.
1
Nobody actually qualified for a position in his administration has the lack of integrity/morals necessary to want to work for him. All he has to choose from are pathetic sycophants and people who donated enough to his campaign to buy themselves an appointment.
1
@daniel18387 Trumpers still hold claim to most delusional person in the room so it comes out equal in the end.
1
So strong he managed to turn the military blue...
1
Also, let them know that when one knowingly make false claims of election fraud, it's considered election tampering and can get one five years in prison.
1
It's not unheard of. There have been elections in the past where one party ran such an unpopular candidate that their voters jumped ship for the Presidential vote but stuck to the party line for everything else.
1
I don't know...he's starting to run low on people to throw under busses...
1
Please don't...None of the sane population is looking forward to a massive Jonestown style mess to clean up once the delusions of Trump's disciples are shattered in January.
1
Considering some of the filth Trump has done business with in the past, the FBI would have been remiss in their duties if they weren't watching him like a hawk...
1
The biggest mistake he made was actively discouraging mail in voting. He might have had a chance at re-election had he not done so. Compounding that mistake by blaming his loss on some grand conspiracy of which he has no legitimate evidence didn't help him much either.
1
And what powers can he use. He could declare martial law but there's very little he can legally have the military do. Neither the constitution or any executive orders give the President the power to arbitrarilly toss out election results / electoral college votes or to force new elections. Were he to try and use the military in such actions, they would be obligated to disobey as such orders would be unlawful. The only thing declaring martial law would really do is increase the likelyhood of his leaving the White House in a body bag instead of a limo. I'm pretty sure he'd prefer the latter.
1
@FaithwalkerTodd You are truly delusional. Seek help...or don't. I don't really care. Just don't be surprised when Biden takes office in January...and if you're one of the ones who are too far gone to cope with that reality, at least do the rest of us a favor and Jonestown yourself in a relatively clean fashion. The mess we're going to have to clean up is going to be bad enough as it is. Don't make it any worse than it needs to be.
1
Because one person who you sinfully worship can't possibly be bad. It has to be everybody else who's wrong. Excellent logic there.
1
That would require evidence which they apparently don't have. Their main case against Pennsylvania was dismissed today when Trump's team failed to produce any of the 200+ affidavits or other evidence they claimed to have supporting it.
1
Tim Billings So their goal is to completely humiliate themselves... My bad, I was giving them credit for more pride and intelligence than they apparently have... Someone should remind them that making false claims of election fraud is itself a crime. It'd be a pity if they had to find that out the hard way...
1
You mean Giuliani's pathetic attempt at falsifying evidence? They sat on it because that's all it's worth.
1
There was enough data available at the time to be reasonsbly sure. Besides, calling one too early and having it come back into play later isn't exactly a big deal.
1
Claims which had some legitimate evidence behind them were investigated. Beyond that, the FBI needs more than just social media rumors and affidavits which have little, if anything, to do with election fraud to warrant further investigation.
1
Rallies and such are just glorified circle jerks and social media is mostly echo chambers so trying to judge support via online comments is pointless. On average, the US population leans slightly to the left with the majority choosing to stay silent most of the time. Whenever a situation comes along that gets them motivated to vote and/or makes voting less of a hassle, you're likely to end up with a Democrat as President.
1
Tabloid media like Newsmax have to make do with what they can get. Most good journalists want nothing to do with such tripe.
1
Knowingly making false claims of election fraud can get one five years in prison for election tampering.
1
They gave him a hearing. Under oath and without all the news cameras on him, Rudy had nothing to say.
