  2. Being ex-mech and int for BAOR our plan was to hold them until our airpower had took out the rear echelon at choke points. The US resupply plan was impressive. They (Russians) aimed their best shock army straight down the centre....to reach the French which in NATO times had one of the worst armies in Europe. If the breached them before the US air/sea bridge took effect they'd won.

  26. Endless pointless wars have left a bitter taste in the mouths of the younger generation. I'm ex-army and wouldn't recommend joining to die and lose limbs for corrupt politicians & billionaires cashing in.
