@Largallama Because it's all they know to get by. Welcome to generation benefits.

These situations happen all day up and down the country. When the police service decided to recruit based on percentages rather than the ability to police it was all going downhill.
13
@Crispanddry I'd rather go to prison
11
Exactly i worked in a workforce of 70 middle earners, not one family had more than 3 kids and that was only 1,the rest had 1 or 2. It's a financial responsibility to bring them up
7
Different demographics. NY police has a massive area compared to Cleveland's so the stats are different. Hence why this vids jumped on the bandwagon as it shows Cleveland to be really bad compared to say London when the reality is far different.
5
@fazorator so lets all lose our life, limbs, friends & family for the big corporations. Been there done that, never again.
3
It's a 💩hole where you get taxed to breaking,to fund a crumbling NHS and those workshy that would rather stay in bed until lunchtime. I'll be glad to see the back of it.
3
No,we don't want to be like the US.
3
@FloppaFan400 less focus on box-ticking and more on getting the right candidates in plus heavier sentencing for crims, rather than the slap on the wrist, don't do that again they get today.
3
London is far worse.
2
They do the dealing from the taxis and takeaways.
2
😂 labours the cause of all this
2
It's really nothing like this. Other areas are far worse in the UK believe me.
2
Welcome to generation benefits. Their parents done it,they'll do it and their children will,ad infinitum. Until the money eventually runs out and we become like the US.
2
💩 parenting
2
Bollocks,it's all about life choices.
2
Bollocks, myself and others grew up in that area and didn't turn to crime or become bums. It's all about life choices.
2
Totally irrelevant comment. Does a truck driver investigate crime or arrest using physical force?
2
Agreed,what a nonsense vid.
2
@bmoney3837 based on the side of area that cleveland police compared to the mer. I've been to both and London is far worse, count how many stabbings and shootings have been in London compared to Middlesbrough over the last 10 years, better still look how many times the police have had to shoot someone.
1
I know plenty from that area that done well. It's all about life choices.
1
Exactly
1
You need to take a walk down linthorpe road mate
1
And it was all a load of bollocks.
1
Driving taxis and dealing drugs. Well known for it up here.
1
Same chances myself and others had. One lad i know from that area is a doctor now. Life choices....
1
Another headline seeking nonsense. The reason this 💩 is published is because Cleveland has the smallest area to police compared to say Cumbria & NY. Go a mile either way and show the neighbourhood's.
1
Some want to be bottom feeders, some want to get on in life. Nothing to do with poverty moreso with parental guidance or lack of it up here.
1
@BlueBellsRBlue it's not if you lived up there. I know plenty who did alright from that area and plenty who just wanted to be 💩 bags. They all got the same choices in life.
1
It's not all like that.
1
Nah think we'll pass on that one thanks. We've never had a school shooting up here.
1
It's nothing like this vid portrays, believe me.
1
@richardprocter4905 you keep that attitude pal and you'll reap the rewards Think like a bum be a bum.
1
@richardprocter4905 you do know I'm from this area as are a lot of my mates.
1
@richardprocter4905 do you need instructions to wipe your bum? One of my mates left that area and become a doctor. Get a grip and sort your life out.
1
@richardprocter4905 good
1
They arent. It's because Cleveland stats are based on the population & size compared to other forces, considering it's policing one of the smallest areas in the country.
1
No need to up here, the vid is full of 💩. Look at how many have been shot by police compared to say London or Manchester.
1
@SlimTortoise If you can't understand my point that's your problem.
1
@SlimTortoise it's because your answer is full of tripe. If a police officer breaks the law or is in the wrong it's an investigation and suspension. Despite what you say it isn't covered up. If the said officer is suspected of being in the wrong theirs plenty to report it to get a leg up the promotion ladder. As for 6 years under the belt, here's some stats In 2023 record numbers left the police 60% of officers don't do more than 4 years in the job AFO recruitment is at an all time low as no one wants to do it.
1
@SlimTortoise I've watched the clip and gathered what experience i need from what I've researched.Youtubers & hearsay aren't what i would describe as evidence.
1
It's nothing like this vid. Look at areas like Nunthorpe & Marton for instance.
1
@leslieperkins759 that's London
