@bkolumban cant you read? He compared the models we have now to the models we had a year ago and he sees a clear improvement. These models are absolutely useful if you know for what to use them. Many people use them for their daily tasks and they save time and are more productive. Are you in that weird camp that thinks that all this is a bubble and ai is still useless? If yes, then you need a new brain, the old one is rotten.

These costs are coming down RAPIDLY. See? You have no clue? Ai systems are comparatively already WAY cheaper than 5 years ago. The prices are coming down right now as we speak.

Also autonomous robotics are frog leaping advancements. You are naive to think that the end of this decade wont be crazy to say the least. @ so people arent seeing improvements in claude 3.7 compared to the model before? Are they imagining it? Are we talking about the same models? See? Youre also just talking about llms. No word about alpha fold 3 that has literally got the guys at google a nobel prize last year. Is it useless? Cars that are scratching type 5 autonomous driving, imagination? What youre writing is so useless lol. Yall dont get it. Forget the term agi. Just focus on ai system of the near future that will shake up the world and economy as we know it. It will absolutely happen. You just think about LLMs. Wich is such a mistake. Ai is everywhere. Its inventing new proteins, new materials, helps in pattern recognition and so many more things. If you compare current ai systems to those from just 3 years ago, its almost not a comparison. We are absolutely on a exponential trajectory and the year 2025 will prove it to you. Not to mention the big advancements in robotics. I dont govern a f*ck if my ai „really“ can think. If it does my job and makes my life easy, thats already mission completed.

@declup yep. These people here are crazy in their heads. The thing is, people just adapt very fast and our fresh new ais are just the new normal. Ai is in so many systems, but they just focus llms here.

@KyleSmithNH china basically has it. Type 4 is almost type 5. that means that autonomous cars basically as good as humans. Type 5 requires cars to be better driver than humans tho. So you could say we have cars that drive themselves as well as the average driver. And this year it will be even better. If that doesnt amaze you all, i dont know what will
