  3. Most people are factually stupid. Sometimes this has consequences and often it doesn't, but that doesn't change the fact. It's also not important. I have a physics PhD but I am absolutely stupid about American football. I don't even know the rules. All I ever see when I watch a game is a cloud of athletic people running around randomly on a green field with lines painted on it. Why am I stupid about the game? Because I never had the intellectual curiosity to learn more about it. That is MY fault and has nothing to do with the game. The same applies to quantum mechanics and most people. They just didn't take the time to learn about it. What is important is that you don't try to appear knowledgeable about things which you never took the time to learn.

  7. I understand quantum physics just fine. It's just absolutely nothing like the stuff you keep hearing on the internet, which is indeed complete bullshit. That's the problem with self-publishing: there is no quality control, whatsoever. Every idiot can tell you his version of reality, no matter how braindead. This brings the average IQ of mankind down, not up.

  12.  @MarshallMadrigal-j2h  That is an often repeated falsehood. You are welcome to read the bible. You will find that it does not contain any scientific content, but it is full with politics. The Abrahamic religions, in particular, came out of late iron age politics. That's the reason why they are so useless: the conditions that created them haven't existed in almost 2000 years.

  19.  @ONEisN0THING  I did. The double slit is a simple wave experiment from 1801. We are teaching it in high school. You can do it at home in your bathtub and it takes about ten minutes to make a good double slit for light with a pen knife and aluminum foil. You are simply a boring troll. ;-)

  22.  @Quick_And_Nerdy  One can't teach stupid people. We have a phrase for that "One can lead a horse to the water but one can't make it drink.". Eventually, I am afraid, we will have to resort to the law to solve this problem. Distribution of unsubstantiated claims will have to become punishable, with severe fines and jail sentences for repeat offenders. This will remove most of the incentive from this business model.

  24. The bodily resurrection is a key dogma in Catholicism. Anything and everything that you have seen about heaven and hell and souls on tv and in the movies is NOT Christian belief. It's just feel-good fiction. Why is this such a big deal? Because Protestants don't know what Christianity really is? No kidding. ;-)
