A Catholic is a person who has taken part in a ritual as a child during which a weird man in drag pours water over a baby while uttering magical spells. That's the only way to become a Catholic. Nothing else matters. I am a Catholic atheist, for instance. :-)

  11. Buddhism is the misguided belief that sitting under a tree all day long and collecting food donations from the poor will make the world a better place. That's far worse than Catholicism, which believes in man's responsibility for the poor during this life. ;-)
