  5. Even that is an irrational strategy. My relatives just had covid for the second time. They had it early in the pandemic in 2020 and now, roughly 18 months later they had it again. They clearly must have had antibodies, but there were either not enough of them or they were the wrong antibodies that did not protect them sufficiently against the current strain. It is clearly not a simple yes/no problem.

  8. If your doctor tells you not to get vaccinated (except in extreme medical situations), then it's time to look for a new doctor. Or you can let it ride and you may or may not win the Darwin Award lottery. That's always a choice. Maybe not the best one an adult can make, but then... not all adults are making good choices all the time. ;-)

  22. I don't know about the previous infection being protective. The anti-vaxxer side of my family was infected very early in 2020. They just got covid again about a month ago and it was pretty bad for each of them. I would like to see how much protection is left in previously infected after a year and a half.
