Go to your bank and ask them to create money out of thin air for you. Then watch the faces. ;-)

Because China can't attack anything that is actually valuable. Pork is a TINY issue. Total exports are value at $1.8 billion a year and they seem to come mostly from Spain, Denmark and the Netherlands. Those are three major car manufacturing countries, aren't they? ;-)

The economics of a self-driving cab is not as good as at sounds. First of all, you have to buy it. If it cost's $30k and you are making 30 cents a mile (which is kind of what Elon seems to be promising here), that means it has to drive around for at least 100,000 miles before it even amortizes itself. Now, what happens if that thing causes a pedestrian fatality? Then you are in for a very expensive bill and you will most likely go to jail. Is that really worth it? Please note that a cab operator does not have that problem because his cab driver goes to jail instead. I believe Elon forgot to tell you these little "problems" with the business model.

@anteeko Intellectually speaking it would be so much better for you if you were just an attention troll than if you actually believed that bullshit. ;-)

WuXi is, at best, a medium size biotech company. It's a supplier of biologics and services. That's nowhere close to the big bucks that the large pharmaceutical companies are making. There is nothing to beat here.
2
@pettypractice7872 What about "It's a supplier of biologics and services." did you not understand just now? The point I was making is that WuXi is NOT a competition to the large American companies and it is not even a competition to small biotechs, either. If you want to be specific about CDMOs, then WuXi still ranges behind Samsung Biologics and Lonza. Is the p*ing match over now? ;-)
2
The exports into China are worth $1.8 billion in total. That's two days worth of VW revenue. Child, you are out of your mind here. ;-)
2
Actually, there was no modern monetary policy during the Great Depression. The reason why it happened in the first place was exactly because conservatism outweighed rational thinking. WW II and the cold war did resolve the Great Depression, but it came at a cost of at least 60 million lives.
2
@ssuwandi3240 I have not seen a single barrel of oil that was traded for worthless Yuan. ;-)
2
OK, so that's another $billion in trade. That's less than one day's worth of revenue for the automotive industry. ;-)
2
@eskay2012 Nothing. We will increase prices by a bit, we will increase subsidies by a bit, the world will continue trading in dollars and China will have to devalue the Yuan, again. :-)
2
It could have been worse. You always have to keep that in mind. ;-)
2
What does China care about interest rates in the US??? That makes zero sense, whatsoever.
2
@BloggerMusicMan A government that makes its own currency can not run out of money. It may run out of good uses for that money, but the money itself can never be a problem. Compare that to governments that are not in control of their own currencies like Greece. You want to emulate that sh*t show? Why?
2
Like what?
1
@terrygibson7143 Venezuela doesn't have any oil to sell. They can't even supply their own population. :-)
1
@terrygibson7143 Yes, that's all very cool. Now if only they had a working drill. ;-)
1
@terrygibson7143 But kid, why don't you like my attention? It's not like anybody in your family is listening to you. ;-)

The public sector in the US is not competitive with the private sector. It pays very poorly and attracts (except for certain specialists) only people with very limited prospects in the private sector. Would you want to work at the DMV? Why?
1
@MacAutomationTips DMV is an office job. I have known people in private company offices who made over $100k per year years ago. At the last private company that I worked at everybody was responsible for their own workstation. If they needed something, all they had to do was to ask and if it was reasonable and useful, the company would accommodate it in no time. If your company doesn't work that way, then you need to go to a better company.
1
Is that the height of Chinese trolling these days? ;-)
1
Xi is gunning for his own legs there. Chinese cuisine depends on pork. CHEAP PORK. Making pork more expensive in China makes little difference to the EU and adds a world of hurt to the poor people of China.
1
@yzy8638 I know that China can't make enough pork to feed the appetite of its people. Tariffs simply make pork more expensive. Every Chinese loses. ;-)
1
Who's that?
1
Loans China has given to other countries were mostly loans to China. All the belt and road initiative loans went back into the pockets of Chinese companies. It's a hidden Chinese debt problem. On the other hand, at $6000 per capita China's internal loan problem seems manageable. I am not sure if that includes the loans of local governments, which seem to be higher and not covered by revenue.
1
@Space Rock I don't see Elon Musk complaining about getting richer by ten billion dollars per month. ;-)
1
@Space Rock I don't see the "little" middle class people that I know complaining much, either. COVID was generally good for middle class business. You are, of course, correct. It's good for you that your life sucked before and that it continues to suck... continuity is a good thing. ;-)
1
@Space Rock Wow, you are very sensitive. :-)
1
@Space Rock I totally got that you need attention. That is why I am giving it to you. ;-)
1
@Space Rock I am still here for you, kid.
1
Trump will buy it from him for 100 million dollars... to be paid by Elon Musk to Trump. :-)
1
Emperor Xi doesn't have any clothes and soon his people will be starving. ;-)
1
I don't understand what is stopping China from making EVs in the US. Tesla has been making EVs in China for years. All you are really saying is that the West is more agile in producing in China than China is in producing in the West. That's not good advertisement for China. It shows that China is not competitive, not even at the level of industrial production. ;-)
1
@yzy8638 It takes five years or more to build a modern semiconductor factory... something China simply can't do. ;-)
1
@yzy8638 It takes no time at all for a troll to feel sorry for himself. ;-)
1
Nobody knows why Xi does the things he does. Even his analysts fail to see a common theme or appreciable rational strategy. Personally I have come to the conclusion that we have entered another age of irrational politics similar to that before WW I. No matter where you look, Trump, Johnson, Putin, Xi, it's all men of questionable mental capacity. Putin used to be the most rational but something broke in the man. Maybe he got exposed to too much sun while riding bare chested. Xi is a Chinese career politician who only knows one thing: how to rise through the ranks. He never had a real program and Boris Johnson was always an empty gas bag on any level. He was mostly propelled by his hair, which is far superior to that of Theresa May. Trump, on the other hand, just proved that the fear of the Founders was well supported: the voter can not be trusted.
1
What did? Monetary policy hasn't changed.
1
Yes, so why is China doing this nonsense? It will make pork more expensive to poor Chinese and do nothing about their automobile import problem. The rich in China will continue to drive Mercedes and BMW. That's just how shallow Chinese are. ;-)
1
That has never stopped anybody from using a social network. ;-)
1
The consumer in the EU gets cheaper pork. Why do Chinese trolls not understand basic economics? Because Xi doesn't understand it, either. ;-)
1
@yzy8638 China can't make a cheap car in Europe. If it could, it would have done it, already. Tesla, OTOH, is making high quality cars both in Europe and China. Tesla is way better than any Chinese car company. ;-)
1
@jacksmith-mu3ee What's up with the desperate need for attention anyway? Is your Mom partying with a strange new Dad, again? :-)
1
@jacksmith-mu3ee What's up, Jack? Cold basement today? ;-)
1
I like Joe Biden, but he is the master of unforced mistakes.
1
What's up with the broken Chinese keyboard? ;-)
1
EU farmers are always protesting, come rain or shine. China can't make them do something that they are already doing. ;-)
1
Mostly with boredom. Most Muslims either don't care or they are so afraid of their government that nothing will happen. What you are seeing on tv are a few unemployed young men who can't get a wife and are sexually extremely frustrated.
1
It has been for many decades. :-)
1
@icecube3645 So you are basically saying that China wants to punish innocent people because it can't get to those that it really wants to attack? That's what really, really weak people do, Dude. :-)
1
@Hellodd99 What are they going to attack next? French bread and Greek olives? ;-)
