  1. Use of napalm against military targets is not illegal by international law but Ukraine has singed Protocol III, which means that it does not want to use it. I am not sure it's all that effective against trenches, either, otherwise the US would not have signed Protocol III. We did, after all, also not sign the treaty against the use of cluster munities, which most likely means that our research suggest that cluster munitions provide much more bang for the buck.

  2. You are assuming too much. What is true, though, is that this was a very, very costly month for Russia. Absolutely nobody at the front lines was "comfortable". ;-)
