  29.  @shariffliasa1961  Oh, there are a lot of natural resources in Afghanistan. The problem is that having a mineral deposit is not the same as having a profitable mining operation. Opening a mine today costs hundreds of millions, often billions of dollars and it usually takes decades to make it profitable. Afghani people have neither the treasure nor the necessary peace to afford either. Now, they could hope for China to come in and do it for them and China might be foolish enough to try, but then... if you do business with China, then usually China keeps the money and you are looking at nothing.

We have, by the way, found Hamas documents on the bodies of dead Hamas militants that prove that Israeli children were specifically targeted in the attacks. So much for that topic...
