  2. That's yuan, not dollars. That would be like the quarterly revenue of Apple, wouldn't it? The real problem is that China owns a $130trillion real estate problem that will be like Japan's for decades to come: ball and chains on the feet of its economy.

  6. Except that the US economy is doing fine. It keeps growing at a steady 2-3%, which is what you can expect from a mature economy. China is not mature and has not managed to stay on the course that would be required for it to become one. Too many people at the bottom are left out and now they have lost their last generation of youth as well.
