  1. I feel the same... but here is the thing... you aren't supposed to have your eyes glued to a screen in front of you. You are supposed to watch the road. It's a really tough decision in terms of user interface. The solutions that look cool are not safe and the safe solutions don't look cool. The only thing that Tesla messed up big time IMHO is the speed indicator. That should have been right in the center of the driver's visual range. That's the only information the driver needs constantly, unless we let "autopilot" chose the speed for us.

  2.  @MaticTheProto  I agree. Tesla's design decisions are sometimes a bit questionable. The display in the center for sure is... but then... most cars had those controls there forever (even log before displays even existed), so it's not like Tesla invented the bad solution. Tesla only refined it with moving the speed indicator out.

  3. WFT? Did they just glue a giant flat screen to a regular car dashboard at BMW? That is the laziest engineering I have ever seen. It's like an afterthought... somebody said three weeks before shipping that the screen was to small, so they did this monstrosity.
