  3. The administration also didn't send artillery. Then it didn't send armored vehicles and tanks. Then it didn't allow F-16s. Are you noticing a pattern here?

  4. Less than a thousand of those were made and most would be intercepted by Russian defense systems. The era of large, expensive delivery systems is coming to an end. Ukraine's best bet is to build thousands of cheap long range drones and to launch massive swarms at once that can overwhelm the air defense systems. Russia will, of course, try to do the same.

  5. Xi is also not laughing. Putin was supposed to make short process of Ukraine, which would have set the stage for an invasion of Taiwan. Instead Western weaponry and military doctrine turned out to be far less decadent and far more deadly than the Eastern planners had imagined. The economic consequences of Russia's actions also came into razor sharp focus. The West is more united now than it has been in decades. Putin's cozying up to North Korea is strengthening the ties between South Korea, Japan and the Philippines. The world is steeling its muscles and pointing its spear tips towards Russia... and China. What should have been proof of a weakening of the West has become the opposite and it is making a laughing stock out of Xi and his imitation Mao political beliefs.

  6. Putin is doing a lot of things, like kissing up to North Korea... but he is surely not laughing. This isn't going as it was planned. The problem is that he can't back down without being killed himself.
