  3. Little correction. The book ain't that old. It is not as old as Homer's works. It's not as old as the official founding date of the Roman Republic. Some of it is not even as old as Plato or the Greek's measurement of Earth's circumference. It's a rather young piece of religious crap.

  4.  @JohnSkeel  No harm no foul. I used to call it a bronze age religion myself... until I looked up the timeline for metal cultures. To my surprise the first confirmed dates of OT texts barely fell into the last century of the iron age... which tells us that people were far better with metal working than with their belief systems. I think we should give them that much credit. The smart ones were smarter earlier than the dumb ones were really dumb. ;-)

  8. I have a feeling that he may have gotten a visit from some government "diplomats" before that "act of generosity". You have to keep in mind that he is already in trouble with the feds and they can simply seize his main toy, SpaceX, because of its strategic importance to the US. Are you surprised that the man wants a weak Trump government that will leave him alone? You would want that, too, if you were him.
