Maybe he can finally go back to having a peaceful life? I kind of doubt it, though. The world will be reeling from instability for the next 20-50 years. China, North Korea, Iran and other bad players are not going to go away.

Even that is not certain. Ukraine has a nuclear option that involves people. Should Russia break through, then 30 million Ukrainian refugees will pour into Europe, which would automatically trigger a military response from at least Poland and then NATO would be involved, anyway, whether the US president wanted it or not. Treaties can trigger global wars. See WW I.
