  1. If Ukraine can significantly reduce Russia's diesel production, then Russia will also lose part of its crop production this year and it might not be able to stock shelves across the nation. This will put additional political pressure on its periphery since we can be sure that the big cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg will be exempt from shortages. Russia will, increasingly, look like Panem...

  2. I am not worried. The US will be fighting Russia one way or another. If it happens through an expanded war between Russia and NATO, then it will even be fighting with boots on the ground.

  3. MAGA exists because of an aging population of people who think they didn't get "their share" of the US economy. I spoke to some of them. There isn't much more behind it than childish "revenge for perceived wrongs". If they can't be happy, then they don't want anybody else to be happy, either. Old people have a limited lifetime. The phenomenon will go away, eventually. The question is how much more damage it will cause.
