  1. It's not the installation that goes wrong in Linux. It's the upgrading and the package management. So, yes, freshly minted Linux distros are all great... just don't try to use them with anything that's not in the box, already, and you will be fine. ;-)

  4. Email was always like a postcard. You basically agree to your email being read by the entire world simply by sending it.

  5. In free societies laws are not retroactive, so even if pornography became illegal you could not be punished for your past activity. In non-free societies they can do with you whatever they like anyway.
