  1. Did you see anybody going in? I didn't. Israel keeps announcing that it's going to be soon and then it's not. Not only that, but I am pretty sure that it's going to go like this: one shot gets fired from a window by Palestinians... jet comes in, drops a 500lbs bomb and levels the building. Israelis march forward... one shot gets fired... jet comes in... levels the next block. They move forward. On shot gets fired... jet comes in... It is going to be bloody, but not for the Israelis. ;-)

  3. You are correct, but it's not even the Bronze Age. Yahweh, the predecessor of Allah, was invented in the very last years of the Iron Age. Rome was already founded and the Greeks were already developing early classical philosophy and mathematics. Homer's works were some 100-150 years old at the time. Middle Eastern monotheism is not even valuable for its age... it's a rather newfangled thing, even by the standards of history. ;-)
