  1. The catch is that the order is limited by the current laws and there is currently no law that regulates the right to repair. Until Congress acts this is a paper tiger.

  2. I doubt that Apple is sweating this. Your point is not valid. As soon as you pay money for the hardware you can do with it whatever you please. Of course, if you manipulate the device in any way not consistent with ordinary use, then the warranty is gone.

  3. I have a more than ten year old PC that works great. My phone is now five years old and it works fine. I have no idea what you are talking about. Product quality is better than ever.
